No alterations, amendments, or additions may be made to the raft, boat rack, plaza, or notice boards without prior approval from the LRA Board. These are shared community assets, and consistency is important for safety and fairness.
Ā š³ļø Membership Structure DiscussionĀ Ā At this yearās Annual General Meeting, we will be discussing whether to maintain the current membership structure or move to a model of one membership per property. Community input and participation will be important.
š§ Lake Water QualityĀ Ā According to the latest test results taken at various locations of our lake, our lake is healthy. Details are available at the LAMACās official website.Ā

LAMAC seeking support for more municipal signs regarding environmental concerns for Lake MacDonald and in particular avoiding the introduction of invasive species like Eurasian Milfoil.Ā
Ā š Speed LimitĀ Ā We ask that all drivers including Golf carts and ATVs, to please respect the speed limits at all times. Please enter Beach Road slowly & respect our fellow memberās properties.
Ā š DogsĀ Ā We ask that everyone respects the Municipal by-law, to ensure your dogs remain within the boundaries of your property, in public places you must keep your dog on a leash (maximum length: 1.85 meters / 6 ft) and under your control.Ā Ā
š FireworksĀ Ā We remind everyone that fireworks are strictly prohibited throughout the entire territory unless a permit has been issued by the municipality of Harrington.Ā Ā
š Board VacanciesĀ We are currently looking to fill the Membership Director and Public Relation roles. If youāre interested in getting more involved in the community, please reach out to a Board member.
